Please note: "one stretch of road rebuilding, and that is past the upper parking lot and is about 200/300 yards long.  As per construction workers, the project is scheduled to be finished by June 30." (2015)

If Rt 344 is closed, backtrack to a right on N Mountain Rd, a right on Breezy Hill Rd and follow to a right on Rt 23 at the end. Or, if you want to do the Mt Washington ascent and don't mind riding on hard pack, take a right off N Mtn Rd onto Sunset Rock Rd. It will become West Street. Take a left where West Street bifurcates and it will merge onto East Street, right before the original route's descent back to Rt 41.

The Bash Bish ascent is quite steep. Without proper gearing you will either suffer or walk.

Thanks John Semel for converting this route to RWGPS!
