This is Claire's "Fairly Flat & Shady" route to Oyster Bay for the 2016 memorial ride for George Arcarola. From Wheatley Rd. it takes the clockwise route into Oyster Bay & back to Wheatley, instead of the usual counter clockwise route. Then coming home it avoids the LIE Service Road completely, taking local streets south of the LIE.

Route starts at Queens Blvd & Union Tpk. at the Kew Gardens E/F subway stop.  This was always known as the Statue of Civic Virtue until said statue was removed from the site. (Ask any old-timer in the club for THAT story.)
