Each cue sheet has different endings: Beacon or Peekskill.

Fred: "This is similar to the route I scouted last year w/Ron & Gerald except I use back roads all the way to Montgomery. (Winding Hills, ez rollers than a very tricky, twisting descent).

Please check current Metro North times to and from GCT & Poughkeepsie.

It basically the old route moving the to
Poughkeepsie saving 8 miles to Kerhonkson and a new return from Walker
Valley thru Montgomery which I've been scouting for years.

Its like last week's Wassaic > Poughkeepsie route, front loaded with
climbing. In my scouting route this June I had 45mi/4900' to Cragsmoor PO
via S. Gulley, 6300'/88 mi on a slightly diff route. Its 700' vertical the
last 25mi from Montgomery, with a tailwind (usually).

Two turns not to miss.
The turn from well named Winding Hills Rd (which is not that hilly) onto
unsigned Corbett is at the W. Corbett Rd sign. Corbett takes you down a
steep twisting descent that should carry you almost into Montgomery.

After Maybrook, where Rt208 curves right is the L onto Forrester. People
tend to miss it because you're descending. If miss it you'll descend to T at
Rt207 and have to climb back up to Forrester. Pretty but unnecessary. From
this point you are on the Rt207 bike route to the Beacon-Newburgh Br.

Since the route is only 88 miles I added a century option from this point
using gorgeous Twin Arch Rd, Woodcock Mtn Rd and Otterkill into Cornwall
with the climb up 9W to the Bear Mtn Br. The longer Rt218 > 293 > Mine Road (if open) route would be preferable, but there was no space. You get the
picture. The basic route should be enough. If you want I'll drop this part
to avoid confusion."
