This route follows unpaved multi-use trails up the west side of the Hudson River, finishing at Peekskill for return via Metro North.
These trails vary in character from scenic and mellow (Tallman, Erie Path, Nyack Beach Path) to rollercoaster-y (Haverstraw Trail) to the wild and wonderful Jones Point Path, just south of the Bear Mountain Bridge. Those first four are easily rideable on any road tires. Jones Point is highly variable depending on the season and conditions - part of what makes it so much fun.
Numerous coffee and/or lunch options, in Piermont, Nyack, Havestraw, Stony Point, and Tompkins Cove.
Recommended tires: 25c or larger
