This is the access to the original cycling and hiking venue. The main trail goes around the lake, which is strikingly beautiful. It does not directly access the newly built singletrack, which is on the eastern side of Long Meadow Rd. However, you can do that if you stay on Long Meadow Rd past the turn for the visitor's center and look for the parking area on the right.

Quite a pleasant route; open country and good shoulders where you need them.

You can opt to take the next left off Long Meadow Rd into the park, especially if you are on a thinner tired bike.

A surprisingly easy access to a most challenging mtn biking venue. But there are trails for all levels.

This has been revised as all access to Ringwood directly from NY State is now deemed illegal due to private property concerns.

The single track is quite rideable, but you will either need to keep an eye open for changing trail markings or follow your prompts on your GPS device. But understand that the places the trail marking change on the map are approximate.

Water is in restrooms at Skylands Manor area on map.

This route was created by John Z.

Studying and printing all maps presented will save you a lot of confusion on the road.

Metro North bike permit required as an out and back on different train lines: Harlem out, Hudson back, thus it is not car friendly.

Road riding kept to a minimun. These roads either have shoulders or are less traveled.

This route falls outside the purview of all but a handfull of cyclists.
