Subway bailouts are available many places along the route (carry a subway map if necessary). Lunch on "Russian" style food on boardwalk. The service is terrible but the food is great. More comments about distance: 30 miles; 37 miles by doing a Prospect Park loop outbound and inbound. Additional loops add 3.5 miles each.

Map is contained in the cue sheet. this ride was designed to occur each April in, as Scott puts it, “commiseration and celebration of Paris-Roubaix on Brooklyn cobblestone.” Paris-Roubaix, considered the “Queen of the Classics” is a race famous for its many cobblestone sections. Scott has strung as many cobblestone sections together as Brooklyn offers. The finish, at the Water Street Bar in Dumbo, was designed to offer participants the opportuniy to watch the Paris-Roubaix race on OLN and exercise their beer hoisting muscles.
